ST. LOUIS (March 25, 2024) – Tarlton, St. Louis’ largest women-owned general contracting and construction management firm, welcomes Michael Ashwell as director of the company’s Special Projects Group, a specialized team that partners with clients in master service agreements to provide a host of solutions and delivery systems across diverse market sectors.
Ashwell, who directs all aspects of the group’s accounts and projects from inception through construction, leads a diverse and skilled team that is fully equipped to meet the specific needs of each client. The Special Projects Group works under established master service and maintenance agreements, as well as project-specific agreements in the industrial, energy, telecommunications, life science, health care and commercial markets.
“Mike’s extensive industry knowledge and keen ability to foster strong relationships with clients and partners is integral to the success, focus and scope of services of the Special Projects Group,” said Tarlton Vice President Michael Trettel, who provides executive leadership for the group, as well as Tarlton’s work in the energy, industrial, heavy civil, concrete and concrete restoration markets. “Tarlton’s considerable construction experience, expertise and resources offer a variety of flexible, turnkey solutions to MSAs, including, but not limited to, cost certainty and self-performance as needed to manage tight schedules and deliver the greatest possible value,” he added.
Prior to joining Tarlton, Ashwell directed and implemented special projects master service agreements for a variety of firms in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and telecommunications industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado State University in Fort Collins – the flagship institution of the Colorado State University system.
