Tarlton Expands Preconstruction and Estimating Team with Addition of Eric Davis

ST. LOUIS (June 20, 2024) – Tarlton, St. Louis’ largest women-owned general contracting and construction management firm, expands its preconstruction team with the addition of Eric Davis, a skilled manager who brings his vast industry knowledge and training to the position.

As preconstruction manager, Davis works closely with Tarlton’s clients in the critical stages of estimating and preconstruction on their projects. In addition to compiling accurate, detailed budgets, he coordinates the project’s detailed scheduling, value management and constructability review efforts, as well as managing subcontractor bid packages for multiple scopes of work.

“Eric is a vital member of the preconstruction team, which our clients depend on early in project planning to provide a highly comprehensive and detailed scope of work,” said Greg Sweeso, who leads Tarlton’s preconstruction and estimating team.

Davis has been involved in preconstruction for several Tarlton health care clients and in budgeting for the Special Projects Group. This group taps into Tarlton’s strengths in self-performance and providing cost certainty to offer facility maintenance services and turnkey solutions for specialized building projects across wide ranging delivery systems and contracting methods.

Davis’ experience before joining Tarlton includes construction projects in the education, multi-family and federal government markets throughout the Southeastern United States. He previously served in the Illinois Army National Guard and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
