The Stephen and Peter Sachs Museum at Missouri Botanical Garden is a finalist for a 2018 Keystone Award from the Associated General Contractors of Missouri.
In managing the historic renovation of the building, Tarlton met the challenges of an aggressive schedule, unforeseen conditions and a surprise discovery above a ceiling in the pre-Civil War structure. The project, which reopened a St. Louis gem to the public after 30 years, pays homage to the building’s 19th century roots and to 21st century construction.
All finalist project teams will be honored at the AGC Construction Awards Gala in November. The project is one of three finalists in the Mid-America Class, GC/CM/Prime Contractor, Project Under $10 million.
