Tarlton transformed an 80-year-old Baptist church in Maplewood into a creativity mecca for ad agency Moosylvania. We built out three levels, creating open work spaces and conference areas, also renovating a 470 sf kitchen, constructing a new stairway, and installing new electrical, mechanical and sprinkler systems. Tarlton self-performed 25 percent of the work.
The team took care during demolition to protect the 1920s structure from vibration, and we maintained its historic character by salvaging and reusing original materials such as stained glass partitions and oak flooring. All new electrical, mechanical and sprinkler systems were installed.
