Tarlton built the Moog Center for Deaf Education in 2000 to serve hearing-impaired children. To accommodate the school’s future students, our team had to ensure all areas used by students were sealed tightly from floor to ceiling for optimum noise abatement. The facility features a multi-purpose room, art room, library, college education classroom, video production studio, audiology suite and a special family instruction site.
In 2012, Tarlton completed a 1,100 sf design-build addition to the Moog Center to further serve the needs of hearing-impaired children, particularly infants. The construction added a second testing facility with an audiology booth and support areas.
