Tarlton was general contractor for a new UV disinfection facility between the existing sedimentation basins and an existing clear well. The team intercepted and rerouted an existing 42” filtered water line to treat and disinfect microorganisms as part of a new EPA guideline for drinking water. The facility consisted of a deep excavation on the slope of the existing sedimentation basin that required a tangent wall earth retention system, auger cast piles, 3’ thick mat slab and walls, cmu block walls, precast roof planks, and associated electrical and mechanical systems. Tarlton self-performed all earthwork, concrete, steel and precast roof panels on the project.
