Tarlton completed the renovation of an existing 3-story building for the Hawthorn Leadership School Foundation. The school opened in August 2015 and serves as St. Louis’ first all-girls charter public school. Tarlton was tasked with turning the 20th century space into a 21st century learning environment.
The building supports accessible, innovative and interdisciplinary STEM education programs. Work included the installation of a new elevator; kitchen, cafeteria and bathroom renovations; science lab build-outs; and administration offices.
