Tarlton completed a 110,000 sf renovation of an existing 338,375 sf industrial facility for Hartmann, the world’s leading manufacturer of moulded-fiber egg packaging. The facility was transformed into a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution center.
Work included concrete foundations, roof work, offices, boiler and store rooms, plus wall and mezzanine removal. In addition, the team completed site work that included a concrete loading dock with retaining walls, concrete pavement and utility relocation.
The facility was expanded by the addition of a 28,800 sf pre-engineered metal building to house the pulp operation. Work for the expansion encompassed concrete stem walls, windows, overhead doors, equipment foundations, a detrasher pit, pump foundations, tank pads and trenches.
Tarlton self-performed all concrete work and installed Hartmann’s equipment.
