Tarlton hosted Girl Scouts July 19 as part of the “Construction Zone” program. The Scouts spent the day with Senior Project Manager Sondra Rotty and two of our summer engineer interns, learning about the work we perform in the STEM fields, building a bench for their new headquarters and touring one of our project sites.
The girls, who are in middle school, earned their woodworking badge for their participation in the day’s activities. We all had a lot of fun getting to know each other, eating pizza, working with our hands and talking about what we love – construction!
