A team of four from Tarlton's Concrete Group completed garage repair work in the hospital's 6-level, 29-year old Demun Avenue Garage. Work included deck repair, overhead patches, rust-proofing rebar and rebar replacement. The team also chipped out concrete and shotcreting, which involved spraying on new concrete.
The team constructed boxes around the patch work and rebar repair to catch the debris for a cleaner site and to avert potential risk of damage to vehicles parked in the garage.
